The North & the South Wine Dinner

Two sommeliers, one northern and one southern, struggle to pair the perfect pour with plates of northern and southern influence. In the glass, Clint Sloan, Sommelier at Charleston's HUSK and McCrady's challenges Jason Carlen, Wine Director at Spiaggia in Chicago, in this four-course paired battle for bragging rights. In the kitchen, Chef Johannes Klapdohr of Old Edwards Inn & Spa, is cookin' up a menu that is certain to please every palate (no matter where y'all hail from...).

Join Southern Foodways Alliance Director, John T. Edge for a screening of two Potlikker short films and a “juicy” discussion among chefs, growers, and television personalities tackling topics such as cooking philosophies and trends, the media impact on the profession, and building community through food. Hair of the Dog 5K

A friendly competition set amid Palmetto Bluff’s spectacular neighborhoods and nature trails. Racers will receive a race t-shirt and be greeted with a Blood Mary and fanfare when crossing the finish line.


Culinary Festival

This is the big show, the icing on the cake, the cherry on top.  The Culinary Festival is a gathering of culinarians, winemakers, growers, and artisans, brought together to accentuate the abundance of ingredients from our surrounding waters, woods and local farms.  They showcase their finest nibbles and nectars and take our guests on a sensory experience that can only be called Music to Your Mouth.  Bravo TV’s Top Chef judge Gail Simmons will host the festivities.


Oyster Roast

Enjoy a traditional Oyster Roast and Southern feast set along the banks of the May River. Our chefs will roast May River oysters (the sweetest and saltiest oysters you’ve ever tasted) and cook up some southern comfort food that will have you calling home to mama. Stop by Buffalo’s and grab a cup o’ joe, a breakfast sandwich or pastry, before you hit the road. Or sit back, stay awhile, and enjoy a leisurely breakfast and sample Mimosas crafted with our house made spirits, all while gazing out at the May River. Not a bad way to start the day. Whole Hog Ticket Package

Limited to just 150 guests, this package is sure to put your taste buds in over-drive. The Whole Hog Weekend Package offers multiple culinary experiences for the foodie in you. As a part of the package you will enjoy:

  • $50 of every ticket goes directly to Second Helpings, a Lowcountry organization dedicated to ensuring that no one in our community should have to worry about whether or not they will have enough food to eat today.

TICKET POLICY
No one under 21 will be permitted at the events.  This includes small children and infants in child carriers. 

By purchasing a ticket to Music to Your Mouth, you consent to photography, audio recording, video recording, and/or their release for publication, reproduction, and any other use by Palmetto Bluff and its affiliates and representatives. By purchasing a ticket you waive all rights you may have to payments or royalties in connection with any use of these materials.

Ticket refunds are available until October 14, 2011 less a 5% handling fee.  Refund requests must be submitted via email to cehampson@crescent-resources.com by October 14, 2011 .  Refunds requested after October 14, 2011 cannot be granted.

Tickets purchase on or after November 1, 2011 will not be mailed, they will be available via WILL CALL at the Real Estate Sales Office Wednesday, November 16 – Friday, November 18, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., and Saturday, November 19 from 10:30 – noon.
