Relish in an authentic dinner celebrating the Argentine approach
to love, life, food and wine. We will introduce you to an array
of Malbec from across their soulful country and feast on a wealth
of meats from a traditional Asado.
Argentina stretches over 1 million square miles or about four
times the size of France. The wide range of landscapes - the
steep elevations of Salta, the majestic Andes in Mendoza, and
endless plains of Patagonia - offer many ideal locations for
grape growing.

your glass, and into your heart. Winemaker Luis Reginato
is a highly trained and respected vineyard consultant and
winemaker with long experience at his family's winery in
Mendoza.

Winery, is a highly trained, experienced, and respected
vineyard consultant and winemaker who receives high praise
from wine critics and is definitely a winemaker to watch.
Luca is named after Laura Catena first-born son. The family
crest (the McDermott family) that appears in the label's
background is that of Laura's husband, Dan. Laura is continually
inspired by the synthesis of cultures in her own family,
and this international inspiration infuses the style and
quality of her wines.

Mendel Winery embodies the union of
Roberto de la Mota - one of Argentina's most respected
and experienced winemakers - with a nearly century-old
Argentine family, whose sole objective is to produce wine
of unquestionable, superior quality. Proprietor and longtime
wine lover, Anabelle Sielecki, diligently tracked down
the very best talent Argentina had to offer when seeking
Mendel's winemaker, and with utmost charm and perseverance,
brought Roberto de la Mota on board. Roberto, son of legendary
winemaker Raul de la Mota, has an impressive winemaking
record and a lifetime of winemaking education and practice.
Together, they choose the best blocks from their ancient
vineyards, and every artisan winemaking step is rigorously
performed. Extraordinary vineyards, passionate people,
experience and friendship are all blended to create these
truly remarkable wines. Mendel is the first name of Anabelle's
father, a man who came to Argentina with nothing and ended
up a successful businessman in different industries. He
was a man that loved the finest things that life had to
offer, particularly wine. Anabelle proudly honors her father
by seeking perfection in her and Roberto's wines.
