![]() April 2nd & 3rd From Zinfandel to Chardonnay, there is no grape that Ehren Jordan cannot embrace and make his own. The winemaker behind Turley, Neyers and his own label, Failla has an organic approach and makes each variety sing as only a true master conductor can. Join us for an up close and personal look at the wines and the winemaker. April 2nd 7:30 p.m. April 3rd 7:00 p.m. Ehren Jordan began his preparation for winemaking at George Washington
University where he majored in Art History with a minor in Classical
Archeology. "Of course", you say, "obvious prerequisites
for a winemaking career". In fact, Ehren has no formal degree
in fermentation science from any institution, a fact he proudly
credits with his success. Ehren instead worked his way up the vertical
integration ladder. After graduating he worked as a wine steward,
sales rep, winemaker in the Rhone and then finally coming home
to work as a winemaker for Bruce Neyers and assistant winemaker
to Helen Turley and today is the winemaker for Turley. In 1998
after much success Ehren and his wife Anne-Marie Failla founded
Failla Winery. Failla focuses on Chablis like Chardonnay and Burgundian
Pinot Noir.
